My weapon of Choice is a V-Shaped Chisel and my motivation comes from a need to give my mind an opportunity to express when words fail. Linocut is a printmaking technique, in which a sheet of linoleum is used for a relief surface. A design is cut into the linoleum surface with a sharp knife, a V-shaped chisel. The raised (uncarved) areas representing a reversal of the parts to show printed. The linoleum sheet is inked with a roller and then impressed onto paper. The actual printing is by hand and therefore every single print is unique: Each Design is limited and comes, numbered, dated & signed.
Creativity takes courage.
